I'm hoping someone can point me towards a simple and free solution to my problem. I would like to have a open source firmware (ala dd-wrt) that can do simple authentication for internet access. No real security concern or any of that...
This is how I would ideally like it to work:
1. User connects to my wireless network
2.user surfing to a page, brings up an authentication page with only one possible username/password
3. user authenticates with password and is allowed to use internet
Simply put, this is to prevent random people using the network (to some degree), but make it easy for people with allowed access to use it (assuming anyone with the passowrd/username is allowed).
Any suggestions? This needs to be free and simple. NoCatSplash would do this, but is no longer supporting this.
