I have a freeradius server (using MySQL), which works for all of my dialup and dsl customers. I have chillispot installed on Ubuntu Server 6. I have created a test username and password on my radius server, which is controlled by Freeside Billing (a free billing software package found at www.freeside.biz).
Here's the problem....
I've tested radius connection from chilli to freeradius
radtest jcobb password radius.mydomain.com 1812 secret
I get rad_recv: Access-Accept, in the terminal. I can watch my username successfully connect on my radius server too.
Now...
When I try logging in via hotspotlogin.cgi using the same user/pass, I get this in my radius log:
Auth: Login incorrect: [jcobb/\260\312\332\021U\361*G\363\004\225\267\305|\202\327]
So, my password is being sent (or recieved) as \260\312\332\021U\361*G\363\004\225\267\305|\202\327 instead of password
Can I specify the way chillispot sends the request? (ie PAP, CHAP, SQL)
