Topic: what is chillispot sendign to radius server

When a wireless client connects to access poin then to chilli, then sends a packet to radius server. What is in that packet? Also could someone tell me what port chillispot connects to freeradius, I believe it is 1814 for authentication, am I right?

1. chilli send username password to radius port 1812,1813
2. radius authen and send accept-request to chilli

Hello guys, which port is used by send accept-request to chilli??? my chillispot configured by a practice student won't work proberly at last.

My config is:

chillispot activated:

ddwrt ip 10.X.X.2 local dhcp disabled
ddwrt wireles optoins most of them disabled

radius server by hetzner(external root server)
dns ip our lancom-router 10.X.X.1
remote network 10.X.X.128/25
redirect-url installed
shared key is set
dhcp interface set to lan
radius nas id is set
uam secret is set
uam allowed is set

chilli.conf is checked and values are OK

The point is we don't get any dhcp adresses from the hotspot anymore. port 1812,1813,3990 are set correctly

remote network ip class should differrent from dd-wrt ip.

first disable chillispot , then run dhcp and check your can surf internet.
after that run chillispot

chillispot will not run if ddwrt can not surf internet
