Here is the setup:

I have chillispot running from an instance of DD-WRT on a linksys box

This points to my FreeRADIUS box which has an LDAP back-end for doing the authentication.

The problem is my MAC authentication.  Chillispot is sending MAC/'password' auth requests to the FreeRADIUS server and FreeRADIUS is trying to bind as that user instead of whats defined in radiusd.conf.  I need it to bind as the radius user and just to a check on the MAC address.  Has anyone done anything similar?  I see a lot of tutorials using SQL as the backend but noone really  using LDAP.  TIA.
